O*NET Data Collection Procedures - The O*NET program approximately has 860 occupations. Funding permits for 100 to be updated every year. With respect to the last update, the 100 are selected based on new and emerging occupations, and on whether a job occupation is in demand.

Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP) - Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP) is not used much but it is a part of the PERM regulations meantime and is at least relevant.
