Here is my iEAD experience at Hartford:

Reached at 8.20 am on Tuesday 4/20/04. Both my wife and me needed the iEAD and both applications were pending for just over 90 days( Receipt date Jan 16) .This location is the Court House building on 450 Main Street and not the 239 Pearl Street where EAD photos for electronic EAD's are taken. There was a long queue ( we had parked on ELM street for 2 hours!) and the rush was because of school holidays and lots of kids were milling around. We could reach the ticket counter in 30 minutes and the lady looked at our EAD receipts and used a calculator to check for 90 days.We were given the I-765 form to fill out. Our turn came about 9.50 am. The dealing person was quite efficient and polite. Requested her to deal with both my case and wife's case together. She pulled up paper work and send us to the room opposite for photos. The photo taker was nice and asked for passport,old EAD. The new iEAD valid for 90 days was given to us in 10 minutes and the old EAD was retained by the photo person. All in all an easy experience and back at our car by 10.20 am !
