Form I-693 is normally valid for a period of one year from the date it was signed by the civil surgeon. In accordance with USCIS policy, in any case that is adjudicated on or before September 30, 2013, the officer will accept as valid a Form I-693 that was signed more than one year before the date of the adjudication of a pending adjustment of status or temporary residence application if the following conditions are met:

WASHINGTON—U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) launched a Spanish-language version of I-9 Central, an online resource center designed to provide information and assistance related to the most frequently accessed form on USCIS.gov: Form I-9, Employee Eligibility Verification.
CBP is experiencing a delay in processing foreign visitors’ travel information into the I-94 database. This does not affect the majority of foreign travelers visiting for business or leisure and will not affect any visitor’s record of departure.
As of Aug. 10, 2012, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) no longer provides admission stamps on Forms I-20/DS-2019 for prospective and returning international students and scholars (traveling with F, M, and J visas) seeking admission to the United States. This change makes CBP processes consistent with U.S.
